My buddy Chris went to New York a while back and all the kids use memory cards as bartering chips on the street. I guess you can use these MiniSD cards in all kinds of phones, computers and other hand held devices.
Every kids who skateboards down the street is listening to mp3 players these days. I guess this could of happened in the 80s with the walkman. I freakin hate my ipod. I worked for like 1 month. And since I got if for a gift, when I finally got around to an Apple store to return it, they said the warranty had expired. How am I suppose to know when the person who bought it for me, bought it? The coolest thing I learned about unlocked cell phones is that you don't need to be tied down to any one contract. You can just slap in your SIM card and you are off using your new phone.
My other friend Joe, like having his Virgin Mobile pre-paid phone because he never talked on the phone very much in the first place. These pre-paid solutions kept the cost down considerably for him.
